Description
Within the Native American belief system is this timeless object. The dream catcher was, and still is hung over an area where one would sleep or simply relax. As you dream, these all pass into the dream catcher. The bad dreams are trapped within the web while your good dreams are allowed to pass through to be had again. These hoops are made using young supple willow. Upon harvesting, these are twisted right away. They are then cured for 6 months. Then the web is constructed by hand using simulated sinew. A natural stone or shell are applied near the center of each one for good medicine. The deer hide fringe and lace is added next. The Glass Crow beads and natural feathers are the finishing touch. I hope these bring peace to your place of rest.
